Circles and Sand

I hope everyone had a great Canada Day! I did even though the sun didn't make an appearance but that always gives me more time to spend in my craft room :)

The brown card was done for PCP's weekly cuttlebug challenge. We had to sand our paper after we embossed it. To do this I brayered some chocolate chip ink over some vanilla card stock. Then I ran it through my bug using the Divine Swirls folder. Using some Sand paper I sanded off some of the ink to reveal some of the vanilla. Cool and easy technique!

The circles card was done for the Wednesday sketch challenge over on Splitcoast. I think it's cute, but I think I'll have to make a custom made envelop for it. I used my circle punches with the Think Happy Thoughts set.

Awesome cards, Kim. What a great tip about inking up your vanilla cardstock so you could sand it! I never thought of that...duh. Brilliant!

I love all the great dimension on your sketch challenge card! TFS
