Arranged with Love
Wow, the week went by and I haven't posted since Tuesday! That's what a sick baby will do!
I recieved my prize from Gina K almost 2 weeks ago and finally had time to make a card with it :) I LOVE this set, it comes with the flower background stamp and 10 different phrases for the "card" in the middle. I stamped the image with black versafine then embossed with clear EP. I popped the card out by stamping it again and using pop ups. I used watercolor pencils & blender pens to color...not sure how much I like it...the coloring that is...maybe I just need more practice? Oh well, all in all it's a beautiful set that will get lots of use I'm sure!

Bridal Bella :)
This is the card I did for last week's sketch challenge on PCP. I used another image from Stamping Bella which I think is too adorable! I tried the glossy white card stock from SU! which I ran through my bug with the large scalloped oval nestie. I like the look of the glossy for a wedding card.
I hoping to do some more today, but Liam is cutting another tooth and he has a cold. So it's not looking good for me and my craft room....maybe if he finally crashes for a nap I'll be able to sneak down there :)

It's Monday!!!
It's Monday, which means it's time for Mojo! For this week's challenge, I decided to kill two birds with one stone and use it for the weekly cuttlebug challenge that I usually do over on PCP.
For the bug challenge this week we were to run a stamped or patterned paper through our bugs with an embossing folder. I chose to use some Raspberry Tart with the Divine Swirls embossing folder. For the images I used one from Stamping Bella, isn't she sweet? I watercolored her with my new watercolor pencils from SU! which I used with blender pens.
Thanks for dropping by!

Crazy for Cuttlebug & Razzledazzle
Wow...it's Friday ALREADY! The week went by toooo fast, before I know it I'll be back to
work :(
Here are a couple of cards I did this week for two different challenges.
The first one was for the weekly cuttlebug challenge over on PCP. I used both the Swiss Dots & Divine Swirls emobossing folders and the scalloped square die. Then I used the new Love Bug hostess set from SU! I think this card would be cute for a little girl's birthday :)
The second card is for the weekly sketch challenge on Splitcoast. I received some of the new in colors this week from SU! The colors in this card are Rich Razzleberry & Melon Mambo along with the Razzleberry Lemonade designer paper. I also ordered the new Butterfly punch that goes with the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set. This punch will be getting LOTS of use :)
Hope you enjoy my creations, have a GREAT weekend and thanks for checking in!

Mojo Monday!
In case you haven't already figured it out, Mojo Monday is one of my FAVORITE challenges :) I finally recieved the Verve stamps that I ordered and used them on today's card. This is the "Because of You Set" and it is Beautiful! Because they are the clear stamps I used Versa Fine in Sepia to stamp them with. I find that ink works really good with the clear stamps, although the Stampin Up ink works ok as well just not as good.
I think I'll be making more of these cards for Mother's Day :)
Hope you enjoyed your Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Oh Baby!
I was blog surfing last night and came across a cute template for this baby card, I thought it was toooo stinking cute!! However, I forgot to bookmark the blog that I found it on and when I tried to find it again I couldn't :( I'm gonna keep looking though and when I find it I'll share the link since I don't want to take credit for someone else's idea! So stay tuned :)

Mojo Monday #94 - FINALLY!!
OK...so I still haven't received the stamps I ordered from Verve, not sure why they aren't here yet, but I really wanted to finish this card TODAY! So I used a set I DID receive today in my SU! order :) It's from the "A Kind Word" set, another cute one. I used Bella Rose designer paper and practiced more coloring.

Stand Up!
So far my new verve stamps have not yet arrived *pout* so my Mojo Monday card is still on hold....in the meantime though here is the card I did for the Try a New Technique challenge over on Splitcoast. It's a stand up card, you can decorate both sides, I chose to leave the back alone since I used the Parisian Breeze card stock and the pattern is so pretty. On the inside I added a piece of white card stock and stamp a sentiment from the God's Blessings stamp set from SU! Added a few felt flowers, brad & ribbon and that's it, a cool variation of standard sized card that will still fit in a regular envelope :) Oh yeah, I used one of the Martha Stewert punches as well.
Hopefully TOMORROW I'll be able to finish and post my Mojo card!!
BFF!
I FINALLY recieved some stamps I ordered from Stamping Bella...here's the first card I made using the Best Friends Forevah stamp, isn't it tooooo cute? The "So Happy we're Friends" seniment is also from Stamping Bella. I used Candy Lane designer paper with Red Rising Hood ribbon. I'm not too happy with my coloring job, I REALLY need to practice that!
I tried scanning this card rather than using my camera, I think it turned out better with the scanner....ya think??
I'm hoping to post my Mojo Monday card later today, I'm just waiting for my new Verve stamps that SHOULD (fingers crossed) arrive today!

Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers #28
I joined the Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers and part of the requirement was to post a short bio of myself for the others in my group to read. So here it goes......
My name is Kim, I'm 36 (ack!) and I live in Nova Scotia where I was born and raised. I have 3 beautiful children - Abigail 11, Lucas 9 and Liam 8 months. I'm the very lucky wife to Terry :) I work full time for the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation and have 3 months left of my maternity leave (which has gone by TOOOOOO FAST!!!).
I've been stamping and making cards for the last 5 or 6 years but never really got into it until this past March when I signed up as a Stampin Up! Demonstrator. Now I'm a stamping fool! So far into my Stampin Up! "career" I've been able to host several workshops and have was promoted to Sr. Associate in May! Once I go back to work I'm hoping that I can continue to teach at least 1 workshop a month and find a way to stamp like crazy.
I'm looking forward to getting to know the other Stampers in SBS #28 and I can't wait to start visiting their blogs to see thier awesome creations. So, to all you talented ladies - Welcome to my blog and thanks for taking the time to become part of the Sisterhood!

Circles and Sand
I hope everyone had a great Canada Day! I did even though the sun didn't make an appearance but that always gives me more time to spend in my craft room :)
The brown card was done for PCP's weekly cuttlebug challenge. We had to sand our paper after we embossed it. To do this I brayered some chocolate chip ink over some vanilla card stock. Then I ran it through my bug using the Divine Swirls folder. Using some Sand paper I sanded off some of the ink to reveal some of the vanilla. Cool and easy technique!
The circles card was done for the Wednesday sketch challenge over on Splitcoast. I think it's cute, but I think I'll have to make a custom made envelop for it. I used my circle punches with the Think Happy Thoughts set.
