Congrats Class of 2009!

I made this card with the new Hannah set I recieved earlier this week, there is also a boy graduate with the set as well. I stamped her on Whisper White and colored her in using blender pens and ink. I used Not Quite Navy as the base & mats and I created the background by running a piece of white card stock through my cuttlebug with the Divine Swirls embossing folder.

Father's Day is Coming!

Here's one card I've done for Father's Day this Sunday. I used the Nature Silhouettes set which is AWESOME for most men...particularly my Dad who likes deer :) Once I stamped the images in Always Artichoke, I used the masking technique to create the sky (Almost Navy) and the setting sun (Summer Sun & Pumpkin Pie). So easy yet looks like it took a lot of work!

Bella Rose :)

This card is one I did for PCP's Saturday Sketch challenge. All the paper is from the Bella Rose designer series, I even cut out the rose & leaves for the middle section. The sentiment is from the new SU! Hostess Level 3 set "Kind & Caring Thoughts" in Kiwi Kiss. I'm loving these challenges that I've been participating in, it helps me come up with new ideas. If youhaven't tried a challenge yet, you should!

Happy Bithday Abby!!!

Today is my oldest's birthday, Abigail is 11 and I can't believe how fast the time has gone! Here is the card I made for her, it's another Tri-Shutter card. I used Certainly Celery for the base and filled it in some of the paper from the Simply Scrappin' Sunshine Garden and Very Vanilla with some floral stickers I picked up at Micheals. I used rub-ons to personalize the middle section and did the verse up on my computer. The pictures aren't the best, I HATE my camera and am determined to replace it before the end of the year....if I weren't on maternity I would have a new by now!

Playing with Javex!

Yep...you read that right...Javex :) These are 2 cards that I did using the bleach techinque. I really the effect on the dark paper.

The first one I did for the Limited Supply Challenge on Splitcoast today. We weren't allowed to use any other paper or layers so I thought this would be a good way to create a nice background on Tempting Turquoise card stock. I decided it was a good change to christin my new Hodge Podge Hardware set as well. Pixie Pink was the ink that I used.

The other card I did was done with Always Artichoke cardstock, I LOVE the way this color bleached :)
